Simu ya Jamii is a personalized public pay phone which bills and charges clients by the second as the integrated billing software of the unit allows the equipment to be used for the retail of GSM airtime. Jembi brings an affordable communication solution to everyone that cannot afford private ownership of a telephone. As such, it is a custom developed mobile business terminal that allows the owner to share the usage and derive an income by making a percentage profit on all calls generated by the device.
